Marinate the whole chicken thighs in olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and chicken seasoning, salt and pepper.
Grill the chicken thighs whole, they may get quite a brown colour. After 10 minutes, cut the chicken thighs and strips and put them back on the plancha or grill. Let them fry through quite a bit more.
When the chicken thigh strips are almost ready, sprinkle them with a generous dash of soy sauce and soy sauce manis. This will give the chicken a light sweetness and a nice crispy caramelised coating.
Finely chop the spring onion and fry with the chicken, you can also add the cashew nuts so they toast along with the chicken.
Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and enjoy!
